MAC-Ada

1. (gwadamac.tgz,3168 KBytes) GW-Ada/Ed-Mac (April 1995 release) is a development environment built around the New York University (NYU) AdaEd compiler/interpreter. It allows the editing, compiling, binding and execution of Ada 83 programs. [680x0 or PowerPC/System 7] load files separately (Older Version -runs also under System 6-,832 KBytes)

2. (smadamac.tgz,514 KBytes) Small Ada 1991: a compiler/interpreter for the "Pascal subset" of the Ada language, plus the Ada tasking support. It is not intended ever to be a full Ada compiler, rather a vehicle for teaching, learning, and experimenting with concurrent programming. The compiler is very fast, producing P-code which is then interpreted by the (slow) interpreter. [ES (Mac Plus or higher)]
