You have a hypothesis on the architecture of your software and want to validate it? You have a specification of your architecture and want to check the conformance of the source code?

Bauhaus lets you specify the high-level architecture (or a hypothesis thereof) and map the concrete components onto the architecture. Then Bauhaus compares the high-level architecture to the concrete components and their dependencies.

The output of the comparison is a reflexion model highlighting:

convergences

references in the hypothesized model also present in the concrete model.

divergences

references in the concrete model for which no reference in the hypothesized model exists.

absences

references in the hypothesized model not present in the concrete model.
